  • New England Board Ready

Co-sponsored by Deloitte and the Women's Network, Board Ready is an educational and networking program for senior female executives who have the interest and experience to be considered for nomination to a public company board or directorship.

This program is intended to address the critical business issue of board diversity by preparing high-performing senior executive women to serve on a corporate board. Members of the program participate in a series of interactive, workshop-style sessions that focus on topics ranging from personal brand to shareholder activism to legal considerations of board membership, and more.

“Because of Deloitte's passion for the topic of women's advancement, and the enthusiasm we share with the Chamber, we chose to focus our board-readiness efforts on women. Our hope is that participation in this program will expand networks and build a stronger pipeline of qualified women board candidates.”

    — Susan Esper, Deloitte Partner & Co-Lead of New England Board Ready Women Program
