How do I join the Boston Chamber?

New members can join online using the membership application. Click ‘Join’ at the top of this page to fill out the Member Application, complete the Company and Contact information fields, and our team will be in touch shortly.

Does my organization need to be located in the Greater Boston area to join The Chamber?

Chamber membership is available to any organization looking to increase their business in the Greater Boston region, and location is not a requirement of membership. Explore all the benefits Chamber membership can provide your team.
Membership Benefits

How long is my membership valid?

Your GBCC membership is good for 12 months from the time the application is processed, and payment is made in full. Example: If your membership is processed in January 2024, then your membership will be up for renewal in January 2025.

If I work for a Chamber member organization, does that mean I am a member?

Yes, Chamber membership extends to all employees at member companies. Not sure if your company is a member? Visit the Membership Directory or contact us to find out.

Can I join The Chamber as an individual?

No, Membership is only available at the corporate level, however there are other ways to participate even if your organization is not a member. Chamber Membership provides you and your team with discounted registration rates and access to member-only events; however, some Chamber programs and events are open to the public.

How do I update my company’s information?

To update your organization’s information, sign-in to the Member Information Center. Once logged-in, you can update your company contact information, addresses, pay outstanding invoices, and update communications preferences. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Member Services Team.

Are membership dues tax deductible?

Yes, 90% of annual membership dues are tax deductible as a necessary and ordinary business expense, the other 10% of membership dues is allocated towards lobbying efforts.

Are you affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce?

The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is an independent organization. The Chamber is a member of the Federation Partnership Program as run by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Qualifying members of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce may opt-in to the U.S. Chamber’s Small Business Membership through this partnership.
