This event will focus on the impact of establishing a corporate board, and the various structures that are possible.
One of the most impactful decisions a private company can make when choosing to expand and grow is to have a strong, well-constructed, independent board of directors or advisors. Yet, many companies do not have a board of any kind. Others have a board that does not function effectively and does not provide the advice and accountability that can make a significant difference in the strength, if not the viability, of a business.
Please join us for a round table discussion about one of the most important features of many successful companies. Our panelists will discuss the necessary steps to establish an effective board, as well as the various structure options that are possible. The discussion will focus on the circumstances that family and closely-held businesses face. Guests will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and ask questions in this interactive session.
