Join us for the next installment of our Pacesetters Doing Business series with Eastern Bank!
The Pacesetters Doing Business Series will allow minority-owned companies to hear directly from procurement officers at Pacesetter corporations to learn about specific processes that may be unique to each company, including but not limited to, procurement procedures, RFP and bidding preferences, contract cycles, and more. Pacesetter corporations are invited to attend and learn best practices and procedures from peer Pacesetters. We also hope this will serve as a virtual networking opportunity for Pacesetters and the minority-owned business community.
Launched in 2018, Pacesetters is a partnership of large and midsized companies and anchor institutions who use their collective purchasing power to create opportunities at scale for local, ethnic businesses of color. Pacesetters understand the economic case for inclusion by increasing supplier diversity spend across local, state and national partnerships with businesses of color. Through the Pacesetters program, procurement practices emerge as an equity tool and a runway for action on creating systemic and economic opportunity. Pacesetters is aligned with the work of the Chamber’s Committee on Economic Opportunity which is charged with developing the united response of the business community to economic inequality.
This event will feature the procurement leadership team at Eastern Bank- Join us!
