Join us to learn how to do business with Berkshire Bank, which will include details about Berkshire Bank’s efforts to do business with diverse suppliers, RFPs, and contract cycles.

The Pacesetters Doing Business Series will allow MBE’s to hear directly from procurement officers at Pacesetter corporations to learn about specific processes that may be unique to each company, including but not limited to, procurement procedures, RFP and bidding preferences, contract cycles, and more. Pacesetter corporations are invited to attend and learn best practices and procedures from peer Pacesetters. We also hope this will serve as a virtual networking opportunity for MBE’s to meet Pacesetters procurement staff.

Launched in 2018, Pacesetters is a partnership of large and midsized companies and anchor institutions who use their collective purchasing power to create opportunities at scale for local, ethnic businesses of color. Pacesetters is aligned with the work of the Chamber’s Committee on Economic Opportunity which is charged with developing the united response of the business community to economic inequality.

Mark Pedrotti, is the SVP, Director of Marketing at Berkshire Bank is currently into his thirteenth year at the Bank. Mark started his journey with Berkshire back in 2007 as a Marketing intern, going back and forth from Providence, RI (where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at Johnson & Wales University) to Pittsfield, MA to support the then small Marketing team of two people! At that time, Berkshire was ramping up to become not just a Berkshire County based bank, but a bank with a presence in the New England and New York. From helping the Marketing team, to getting his official full-time start working in the branches, Mark doesn’t forget the opportunity the Bank provided him to learn and grow in what he was most interested in—film and video production. Inspired by film and video since a child, Mark jumped at the opportunity to take that passion and apply it to the digital revolution we see here today at Berkshire Bank.
