About the Event

This year, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the distinguished and honorable Pinnacle Awards.

For the past 30 years, the Pinnacle Awards has been an unprecedented, premier event, championing and honoring Greater Boston’s dynamic female leaders for their contributions to the workplace and their commitment to community. Greater Boston’s women in business are leading the region and world forward – with their influence and impact, they are building the industries and places that fortify the pillars of commerce. Every year, more than 1,200 attendees, including elected officials, business innovators, and next-gen leaders, convene to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our honorees.

Thank you for joining us as we celebrated 30 years of representation, inclusivity, and progression. For the next 30 years and beyond, we look forward to a powerful generation of women who lead by example as they reach the pinnacle of whatever their version of success and aspirational leadership is.

Donna Levin is the CEO of the Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson College. The Blank School builds entrepreneurial leaders with empathy, morality, compassion, and drive to produce scalable solutions that benefit individuals, communities, and the world. Prior to joining Babson, Donna held faculty appointments at Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management and served as the inaugural Executive Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at WPI. Donna was the co-founder of Care.com, the world’s leading online destination for helping families find and manage family care with over 33 million members across 20 countries. During Donna’s tenure at Care.com, she played key roles in building and scaling the company through rapid growth, 5 rounds of funding to IPO. Donna currently serves on the boards of directors of Mathematica, Mass General Brigham Community Physicians Organization and the Mass Technology Leadership Council. Donna holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Emerson College.

Lucy Pérez is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company’s Boston office, advising CEOs and teams at leading global companies on growth strategy, innovation, sustainability, and organizational transformation. A former cancer researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, she is a leader in McKinsey’s Life Sciences practice, spearheads McKinsey’s health equity and women’s health efforts, and serves as Coleader of McKinsey Health Institute, focused on Health Equity. Lucy also co-leads McKinsey’s global client service in Sustainability and Social Impact Strategy, and is responsible for McKinsey’s North America Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts. Lucy is a board member of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable and the advisory board for the Aspen Institute’s Latinos in Society program and Women’s Health Innovation Summit. She was recently named an Amplify LatinX 100 Leader in Massachusetts and an ASPIRA Circle of Achievers 2023 Award recipient. Lucy holds a bachelor’s degree and doctorate degree in Chemistry from Harvard University.

As CEO, Caitlin Dodge drives the vision and growth of ThinkArgus. In this role, she leads operations, directs client relationships, and maps out our strategy as an agency. An experienced and insightful marketing leader, Caitlin has helped shepherd complex clients through their most challenging communications issues and is depended on by marketing leaders in multiple sectors for her expertise in developing effective campaigns across mediums and audiences. Caitlin began her career at Smithsonian Enterprises, the company that publishes Smithsonian Magazine, Air & Space Magazine, goSmithsonian Magazine, and runs the Smithsonian Television Channel. As Smithsonian’s Marketing Manager, she focused on creating multimedia campaigns for national and international clients. Prior to joining ThinkArgus, Caitlin was the account lead for Williams Whittle, a non-profit focused marketing and ad agency in Alexandria, VA. When Caitlin is not multitasking at work, she’s multitasking at home. You’ll often find her absorbed in an Audible book or podcast while chasing after her two small children. She’s also outdoors whenever she can manage it – by the ocean, hiking, or skiing.

Kimberly S. Budd is the 38th Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She was appointed as an Associate Justice by Governor Charlie Baker in 2016, and four years later was elevated to the role of Chief Justice. Budd earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, and her B.A. from Georgetown University. After law school she worked as a litigation associate in the Boston office of Mintz Levin, P. C., served as an AUSA in the Major Crimes and Drug Unit of the U. S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, and was an Associate General Counsel for Harvard University. In 2009 she was nominated to the Superior Court by Governor Deval Patrick, and in her last year as a trial court judge on that bench, served as the Regional Administrative Justice for Middlesex Criminal Justice. Budd is married to Bill Thompson and has two young adult sons.

Nancy Huntington Stager leads Eastern’s philanthropy, volunteerism programming, and civic advocacy as President & CEO of the Eastern Bank Foundation (EBF). Partnering with fellow change-makers across non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors, she has actively shaped the Bank’s corporate social responsibility culture and reputation in the communities of eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, to become one of the Top 10 Most Charitable Companies as noted by the Boston Business Journal for the eleventh time. She is dedicated to creating and supporting robust initiatives that lift up and advance our communities, encouraging colleagues to volunteer their time and talents with non-profit organizations addressing community needs, and serving as a strong advocate for social justice and economic inclusion aimed at creating a better, fairer, more sustainable world. Now at over $200 Million in assets, the Eastern Bank Foundation (EBF) remains focused on the communities within Eastern’s market area, annually providing over $12MM in grants to more than 1,000 local organizations, including Impact Grants focused on creating systemic change and progress. Nancy co-founded the Foundation for Business Equity (FBE), a private foundation incubated at EBF with more than $15MM in grants, which advances equity in the small business ecosystem. FBE has served 100+ BIPOC-led businesses with authentic technical assistance from entrepreneurs who have led their own companies, access to growth capital, and access to networks of procurement officers and contracts. After 5 years of incubation, FBE recently merged with Mill Cities Communities Investments (MCCI) in Lawrence, and Nancy has joined this combined board. Nancy is a founding sponsor of the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and has served as its Treasurer since inception. She has been, and continues to be, a strong advocate for the LGBT community around marriage equality, protecting the rights of people who are transgender, and most recently for the Massachusetts Parentage Act. She has received numerous honors for her leadership and work in Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, such as: Top 100 Women-Led Companies in Massachusetts from The Women’s Edge, Power 50 Movement Makers in Massachusetts from the Boston Business Journal; the Community Commitment Award for Economic Inclusion from the American Bankers Association; the Founder’s Award from Conexión; a Leaders in Diversity Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, and the Lifetime Achievement Award as a Leader in Diversity from the Boston Business Journal.The YWCA Boston has also inducted her into its Academy of Women Achievers and she has received the Medal of Honor from the National Center for Race Amity. Nancy is a Director of Philanthropy Massachusetts and serves on the boards of a number of community organizations across the Greater Boston area. Her published thought leadership has focused on social justice and economic inclusion and mobility.

Rudina has led investments and/or served on the Board of Directors of ChaosSearch, CloudTruth, Inrupt, Plannuh (acquired by Planful), Reprise, Talla (merged with Seva), Verusen, Zylotech (acquired by Terminus), Celtra, SocialFlow, CrowdTwist (acquired by Oracle), and Navigant Consulting (acquired by Veritas). Rudina has 19 years of investing and operational experience in high-growth companies in IT software, cloud and enterprise SaaS. Before venture capital, Rudina was a Senior Manager in the Corporate Development Group at Microsoft Corporation. In this role, she led a number of successful acquisitions including iView Multimedia, Massive Interactive, Bungie Studios restructuring (creator of the Halo franchise), Deep Metrix, and Lionhead Studios. Prior to Microsoft, she was an investment banker in the Technology Group at Credit Suisse, responsible for multibillion-dollar acquisitions. Rudina was appointed by the Dean of the Harvard Business School (HBS) for four consecutive years to serve as Entrepreneur-In-Residence for the Business School and was named to the HBS inaugural group of Rock Venture Capital Partners. Most recently, she was appointed to faculty and staff at Harvard Business School as an Executive Fellow, and to the Board of Directors of the New England Venture Capital Association. In addition, she is a member of the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College and a former member of the Digital Advisory Board for GSK Consumer. Rudina serves on the board of directors of M&T Bank and MSC Industrial Supply. Previously, Rudina has served as Chair of the Board of Overseers for the FutureM, a conference with 2,500 technology innovators and digital executives. Her philanthropic work includes serving on the Boston Children’s Hospital Philanthropic Board of Advisors as Chairwoman and Trustee for the Meadowbrook School of Weston. Rudina has been named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs List, Startup Boston’s 2022 Investor of the Year, Boston Business Journal Power 50: Newsmaker, a Women to Watch honoree by Mass High Tech, a Business Insider Most Important VC in Boston, and Top VC investing in AI and Machine Learning, and a Boston Business Journal 40-under-40 honoree for her professional accomplishments and community involvement. Achievement in Advancement of Women Professionals –
Yvonne Garcia serves as Chief of Staff to State Street’s Chairman and CEO, as Global Head of Internal Communications, and as Global Head of the CEO Experience Program. In these roles, Yvonne is responsible for the setting and execution of the Chairman and CEO’s firmwide strategic priorities, the internal communications strategy for over 40,000 employees, and the engagement of State Street’s most strategic clients representing over $9B in revenue. Before these roles, Yvonne led State Street’s Global Client Solutions and Implementation team within Investment Management Services (IMS) where she led the design and implementation of future state operating models for clients. As an active leader of local and national communities, Yvonne serves as the Corporate Advisory Board Chairwoman for the largest Latino Professional Organization in the country, ALPFA. Yvonne is also the co-founding Chair of Milagros para Niños at Boston Children’s Hospital, focused on raising funds for Hispanic children who cannot afford medical care. Yvonne also led the design and launch of Small Business Strong, focused on providing complimentary personalized consulting services to women and minority owned small businesses in Massachusetts. Yvonne was appointed by Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey to serve on the state’s Latino Empowerment Commission Board and to the Executive Committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, Yvonne was appointed to the Board of Directors of Reading Cooperative Bank and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. Yvonne holds an MBA from Boston University in Finance and Marketing and a BA from SUNY Albany and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Former CEO (Constant Contact) and Board Member (EforAll, Shopify and Jobber) Gail spent 17 years as CEO of Constant Contact, providing online marketing tools for small businesses and nonprofits. Gail led the company from pre-revenue to a successful IPO in 2007 and through its acquisition in 2016 for $1.1b. In 2016, more than 650,000 small businesses and nonprofits used Constant Contact to engage their customers and grow their businesses and company revenues topped $370 million. Gail is a true believer in the power of entrepreneurship to transform lives and communities. She helps underrepresented entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality working with EforAll as both a mentor and Board Chair. Gail also serves on the boards of Shopify (NYSE: SHOP) and Jobber. Gail holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.

    A current founder of a business that has been in operation for at least 5 years, or someone who has used their career to cultivate the entrepreneurship ecosystem and has previously founded a business or been a member of a founding team at some point in their career.

  • Achievement in Management (3 Awards)

    A woman who has excelled within an organization in one of the following categories:


    • Private Sector

    • Government*

    • Non-Profit


    *Nominee does not need to be a Chamber member

  • Achievements in the Professions

    A woman who has made a difference in her profession (lawyer, accountant, engineer, architect, consultant etc.).

  • Achievement in Health Care

    A woman who has demonstrated success in a health care field.

  • Achievement in Arts and Education

    A woman who has demonstrated success in a cultural or academic institution.

  • Emerging Executive

    A woman early in her career who exhibits strong leadership potential. Nominees must be 40 or under at the time of the event (January 27, 2023).

  • Lifetime Achievement

    A woman whose entire professional career and civic involvement has been exemplary. Nominees must have at least 25 years of professional experience.

    • Networking with the region’s top leaders, inspiration from our incredible honorees, and plated lunch and dessert with your choice of water, coffee, or tea.

    The Omni Seaport is within walking distance of the MBTA’s North Station, Silver Line (Congress St @ World Trade Center Station).

    Valet and self parking is available. We do not offer parking validation.

  • When should I arrive?

    For the Friday, January 26 in person Awards Ceremony, registration & networking begins at 11:00 a.m. If you arrive earlier than 11:00 a.m., kudos to you for beating the traffic! The program will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m.

  • Do I need to register for the event in advance?

    Please resister in advance, tickets for the in person luncheon are limited and will sell out. Onsite registration will not be accepted.

  • COVID-19 Policy


      The Department of Health and Human Services lifted the Presidential Declaration of a National Public Health Emergency arising from the COVID-19 pandemic on May 11, 2023. Therefore, COVID-19 will no longer be considered a national health emergency. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce will continue to monitor trends and act accordingly based on Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance.

      Your health and safety remain our top priority while attending programs, events, and meetings. COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are strongly recommended. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce still follows exposure guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.
