Small Business Spotlight
DetecTogether, a non-profit, is on a mission to save lives by teaching people how to detect cancer early. While many organizations focus on treatment, we focus on action—educating people on how to notice early health changes and speak up effectively with their doctors. Our signature program, 3 Steps Detect, empowers individuals to recognize when something might be wrong, navigate the healthcare system confidently, and get the right care at the right time. Most people are surprised to learn that only 14% of cancers are detected through routine screenings—meaning the majority rely on patients noticing symptoms and taking action. Early cancer detection isn’t just a medical issue—it’s a mindset, and we’re changing it.
One of the most effective ways we deliver this life-saving education is through our workplace program. Companies bring us in to empower their teams with tools that improve health outcomes, reduce long-term healthcare costs, and create a culture of self-advocacy and wellness. Being a member of the Greater Boston Chamber connects us with purpose-driven business leaders who care about their people—and who are often surprised at how simple and impactful our program is. We’re always eager to connect and show just how powerful early detection can be in any work environment.
