Boston, MA – The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Pinnacle Awards, honoring eight remarkable, senior-level women in Greater Boston for outstanding achievement in business and management in the following categories: Entrepreneurship; Management – Private; Management – Government; Management – Nonprofit; Professions; Health Care, Arts, and Education; Emerging Executive; and Lifetime Achievement. The honorees will be recognized on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Annual Pinnacle Award luncheon held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel.
For more than 20 years, the Pinnacle Awards have recognized some of the most influential and brightest female leaders from the Greater Boston region, and our 2017 honorees continue that great tradition, said James E. Rooney, president and CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber. These awardees have been powerful contributors to their respective organizations and industries. But more importantly, they’ve contributed enormously to Greater Boston’s success story, and that impact will resonate for many years to come.

The Pinnacle Awards luncheon was started more than 20 years ago by the Chamber’s Women’s Network and has become one of the premier business gatherings in the region, attracting more than 1,000 attendees.
The awards are designed to honor leading women for outstanding achievement in the workplace, demonstrated leadership that has made a difference, and a commitment to enhance the quality of life in the region.

The Greater Boston Chamber’s Women’s Network was founded in 1994 to promote and expand economic opportunities throughout the Greater Boston region for all women in business through shared leadership and expertise. The Women’s Network offers programs that provide career enrichment and development opportunities for women at all professional levels, spotlight the accomplishments of women, and promote the positive influence that women have upon the Greater Boston region.
