The opening of Chick-fil-A Copley Square on January 5, 2022 was the first Boston proper restaurant for the chain, and locally owned and operated by Operator Matthew DeMichele-Rigoni. The restaurant is focused on sustainability efforts, being one of few Chick-fil-A restaurants that digests food waste with its ORCA food digester, keeping food away from trash and landfills. Since 2022, Chick-fil-A Copley Square has also surpassed donating over 10,000 meals to Boston Rescue Mission through its Shared Table program, taking surplus foods to feed those in need daily.
Chick-fil-A Copley Square is focused on being a light in community. That’s why we have provided our time and/or resources to over 80 organizations, schools, first responders, hospitals, shelters, and churches in 2024, alone. We also donate more than 2,000 sandwiches annually to the BAA Boston Marathon Volunteers. We have even created teams to support the City’s Love your block event, to keep Back Bay looking beautiful. We love our community, and are proud to be apart of it!
Chick-fil-A is more than a fast food restaurant. We are locally-owned and passionate about caring for our customers, because we know we are not the only option to choose from in Back Bay. Our restaurant is also passionate about team member engagement. We want to be known as a place where team members feel cared for, encouraged, and inspired by doing purposeful work. We care for our team members, and train them to care for our guests. We also have many development opportunities that also provide paths to franchising one’s own restaurant. With a team of over 115 and 25 restaurant leaders, you will not meet a team that is more passionate about providing a great experience for our guests. It’s our pleasure and honor to serve you!
