Aiming to create meaningful examples for the creative economy in Boston

In partnership with MadeINcubator, Inc. and their Living Art Boston week, this high-level panel discussed topics on the creative economy, job creation, and industries for development.

Forward thinkers and global leaders in business, policy, and beyond need a space to unite to share ideas, collaborate, and problem solve. The creative economy is an evolving concept based on creative assets and covers economic, cultural, technological, and social issues. This session explored the creative economy´s conceptual, institutional, and policy framework, as well as global trends and features of the international market for creative industries.

Thank you for joining us at the reception following the program, chatting more with our panel, networking, and mingling with other female professionals and building a stronger community and networking for yourself!

By day I am the people person connecting people. From Business Resource Groups, sports, and clubs to large events be they in-person, hybrid, or wildly virtual – I seek the opportunities to spark and celebrate the work and each other.

By night I work with silver, copper, brass, bronze, and steel. They are open roads for enamels, etching, rivets, folding and hammering. Be it large, or small – wearable, or for the mantel, I make the things that make me happy.

Lori’s work is currently on view at the Ohio Craft Museum as part of the Alchemy 6: International Exhibition of Contemporary Enamel.
