The Power of 30: Celebrating Three Decades of Women’s Network Excellence

Thank you for joining us for our final Women’s Network event of 2024 as we concluded our 30th anniversary celebration with an inspiring conversation featuring two remarkable leaders:  Susan Loconto Penta, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of MIDIOR Consulting and Co-Founder and President, Modern Administration Systems, and  Caitlin Dodge, CEO of Argus. We have reflected on the past 30 years, and now we are looking ahead to the next 30!

Susan Loconto Penta, our outgoing Women’s Network Board Chair, is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, educator, and consultant with a passion for products, technology, and community. Caitlin Dodge, our incoming Women’s Network Board Chair, is known for her visionary approach and strategic leadership. She drives the vision and growth of Argus, leads operations, directs client relationships, and maps out the agency’s strategy. Both Susan and Caitlin are Past Pinnacle Award Honorees and influential small business leaders.

This event will provide a unique opportunity to hear their insights on:
  • The importance of networks like the Chamber’s Women’s Network and the power of making connections,
  • Their leadership and innovation throughout their careers
  • How we plan to continue making Boston one of the best places for women to live and work.
Don’t miss this chance to celebrate our milestone anniversary, make connections with fellow Greater Boston professionals, and gain valuable perspectives from these accomplished women. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is part of our fall conversation series

In January 2021, Kamala Harris made history by being sworn in as the 49th U.S. Vice President, becoming the first woman, the first Black American, and the first Asian American to hold the office. In July 2023, Barbie hit movie theaters and captivated global audiences by challenging societal expectations, celebrating diversity, and instilling confidence in women and young girls from all backgrounds. In August 2024, the remarkable U.S. women’s gymnastics team became the most ethnically diverse in Olympic history, and Simone Biles secured her spot as the most decorated gymnast in history.

Although significant progress is being made, women today are still grappling with gender stereotypes and navigating challenges in advancing inclusion and representation. Continue the conversations as we explore the importance of “seeing yourself” and come together to inspire the next generation of women leaders. Diversity at the top is not just a matter of equity but also a catalyst for innovation and success.
