In this installment of our Future of Boston virtual event series, leaders from Boston Children’s Hospital will discuss what the future of childcare and early education could look like.

While some childcare facilities and day camps reopened in Step 1 of Phase 2 set by Governor Baker, the future of childcare and early education continue to face a time of uncertainty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this panel discussion, leaders from Boston Children’s Hospital will share observations on the impact this pandemic has had on children, as well as thoughts on schools re-opening in the fall, and the role childcare plays in our society.

This program is part of the Chamber’s “Future of Boston” series, where we hear from regional leaders as they lead their organizations through the pandemic and into the future. Is the future of work here? How can various industries and communities adjust and thrive? And, the question on everyone’s minds: When and how do we begin transitioning forward to commuting, working and socializing?

Have a topic you’d like us to address? Submit questions here.
