Live Like A Local Tours Boston

More than a food tour, Live Like A Local Tours Boston explores the deep history and culture of the Nubian Square community while strengthening the economic affluence of local businesses in Roxbury. We hope you enjoyed experiencing this tour like a local and the food and drinks from local businesses as Collin Knight, owner of Live Like A Local, guided you through the hidden gems of the vibrant neighborhoods that do not often get the exposure they deserve.

What is F.U.N. Lives On?

This event is the second part of our Fierce Urgency of Now “Lives On” series, which is an extension of our annual Fierce Urgency of Now Festival. The Fierce Urgency of Now Festival is a week-long decentralized event dedicated to convening Boston’s diverse young professionals together with business leaders, organizations, and their peers to build connections, advance careers, and ignite positive change. Click here to learn more about the festival.

Who runs Live Like a Local Tours?

Founder Collin Knight is a Roxbury native who grew up near Nubian Square. After graduating from high school, Knight took a job in the theater department of a local Roxbury high school, where he worked with and helped young at-risk students. After working for some time in New York as an actor, Knight returned to Boston and created the Live Like a Local Tours Boston to inform and educate people on the historic neighborhood while also giving back and supporting the community in which he was raised.
