Marcela Aldaz is a visionary entrepreneur and business strategist shaping the future of work through innovation, inclusion, and AI-enabled transformation. As Founder & CEO of Arka HR Solutions and Founder & Managing Partner of MCBI Advisors LLC, she helps organizations scale through technology, talent strategy, and organizational excellence.

Under her leadership, Arka HR has become one of the most forward-thinking HR consulting firms in the Northeast—recognized as Small Business of the Year (Talent Development & Inclusion) by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and ranked among the Largest Minority-Owned Businesses by the Boston Business Journal. She also secured a grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to launch BuildingHER, a tech-platform-driven accelerator designed to empower women entrepreneurs in the clean energy and climatetech sectors.

Marcela is pioneering people-centered AI-powered HR solutions, including a proprietary platform that automates workforce diagnostics to help executives make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Before founding her companies, Marcela made her mark as an intrapreneur within major corporations. As the Inaugural Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Mass General Brigham, she led a cultural transformation impacting 80,000 employees and helped build a more inclusive workplace across one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems. Earlier, at MassMutual, she developed innovative leadership programs that became industry best practices.

As former National Board Chair of ALPFA, the largest Latino professional association in the U.S. with over 100,000 members, Marcela led the organization’s historic digital transformation during the pandemic. She also played a key role in creating Small Business Strong, a statewide coalition that provided pro bono consulting to more than 2,000 small businesses during COVID-19.

Named among the Boston Business Journal’s 2025 Women Who Mean Business, Marcela is a Fellow in Inclusive Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University and a member of Harvard Business School’s Investing for Impact Cohort, where she continues to champion innovation and purpose-driven leadership. She earned her MBA from Simmons University.

Rosalin is a strategic, results-oriented C-level executive with experience across private and public sector organizations. She has been accountable for multi-million dollar P&L’s, trustee to multi-billion dollar trust funds, overseen risk management and the strategic direction of complex organizations. Rosalin also has a strong track record of recruiting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Rosalin joined Ernst & Young, LLP in February 2023 as Managing Director and National Practice Leader for Labor and Workforce Development. In her capacity at the firm’s Government and Public Sector practice she works with government officials and with her EY colleagues on ways to best solve some of the most difficult obstacles facing State Government Leaders.

Prior to joining EY, Rosalin was appointed Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by Governor Charles Baker in 2017. She was responsible for leading the operations of seven complex agencies and was responsible for shepherding the Department of Unemployment Assistance through the most significant challenge in its history during the Covid 19 pandemic. Other highlights throughout her Secretariat included re-branding the entire public workforce career center system to MassHire, and launching the State’s first Department of Paid Family and Medical Leave (DFML). Her responsibilities required her to work closely with federal and state government officials to promulgate regulations and operationalize existing as well as new statutes.

Before joining the Baker Administration, Rosalin spent over 30 years in progressively responsible positions in global, regional and community banking institutions.

A native of Cuba and a mother of five adult children, Rosalin is bi-lingual and bi-cultural. She is an alumni of Harvard Business School (AMP) and received her undergraduate diploma from Wesleyan University. Rosalin is very active in the Latino community in Massachusetts and is a founding member of Unidos in Power as well as active member of other non-profit and civic organisations such as: The Governor’s Advisory Council on Latino Empowerment, AmplifyX and Mass Inc. She is a recognized leader, public speaker and cultural ambassador on matters of diversity, equity in the workplace and promoting latino leadership. Rosalin is the recipient of many national and statewide awards for her leadership and dedication to the community.
