Anne Klibanski, M.D., is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mass General Brigham, a Boston-based integrated healthcare system that includes internationally known Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, three nationally recognized specialty hospitals, including Mass Eye and Ear, McLean, and Spaulding Rehabilitation, seven community hospitals, a health insurance company, physician networks, community health centers, home-based care, and long-term care services. 

Appointed to her role as President and CEO in 2019, Dr. Klibanski’s vision for Mass General Brigham is to build the integrated academic healthcare system of the future with patients at the center, by transforming care, improving outcomes, and expanding impact locally, nationally, and globally. 

As the largest private employer in Massachusetts with 82,000 employees and annual revenue of $20 billion, the non-profit healthcare system is a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, establishing its position as a national leader in medical research and education. 

Dr. Klibanski has led the clinical integration of services across Mass General Brigham and is responsible for the development of new technologies that improve both patient and clinician experience. Platforms including virtual urgent care make it easier for patients to access the system’s world-class care, while new artificial intelligence tools help clinicians keep patients at the center and reduce the administrative burden of writing clinical notes.

Dr. Klibanski has overseen increased investment in leading-edge research that has the potential to revolutionize treatments, such as gene and cell therapy. The system’s innovation team has created more than 300 companies that are making broad impacts on human health, from therapeutics to diagnostics and research.

Under Dr. Klibanski’s leadership, Mass General Brigham has also committed significant resources to community health, with a particular investment in mental health programs. She is dedicated to supporting a workforce that is best able to meet the healthcare needs of Mass General Brigham’s diverse patient population.

Dr. Klibanski served as the healthcare system’s Chief Academic Officer from 2012 to 2019 and as Chief of Neuroendocrine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is recognized internationally for her high-impact research in neuroendocrine disorders and pituitary tumors.

Michael Curry, Esq. is President & CEO of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, which represents 52 health centers, serving over one million patients out of over 285 practice sites. He was named one of the Boston Business Journal Power 50 Movement Makers of 2024, 2023 and 2022, and one of Boston Magazine’s 150 Most Influential Bostonians in 2024 and 2023, as well as Bostonian of the Year in 2021 (along with his member health centers) by The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine. In 2022, he received the Trailblazer Award from the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA).

He brings over 35 years of experience and results in civil rights advocacy, health reform and health equity. He is a current, nationally elected (4-term) member of the National NAACP’s Board of Directors (2014-present), the Regional Administrator for two State Conferences of the NAACP, and the Past President of the Boston Branch of the NAACP (2011-2016). Attorney Curry is also an Adjunct Professor at both New England Law Boston and Suffolk University’s Moakley Center and Sawyer School of Management. He is a highly sought after commencement and keynote speaker.

Dr. Curry earned a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from New England School of Law, and later graduated from the inaugural class of the Executive Leadership Council’s Pipeline to Leadership Program. He also has an honorary degree from William James college, a Doctorate in Business Administration from Curry College and Healthcare Administration from Labouré College.

She brings over 25 years of experience in serving Fortune 100 clients, leading high performing teams and advocating for change.

Jane is skilled in bringing the full power of EY’s multidisciplinary practice to assist clients across a spectrum of areas, including transaction support, supply chain, tax, legal, finance, talent and change management. As a tax partner, Jane serves as the lead tax partner, coordinating all aspects of tax services, to some of firm’s largest global accounts.

Dedicated to giving back to her community, Jane is committed to personally making a difference in youth mentoring, equality and the environment. She is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Boston, Earthwatch, The Boston Foundation and the National Association of Corporate Directors – New England Chapter. She also serves on the executive committees of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, Massachusetts Business Roundtable, Massachusetts High Tech Council and Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation.

Jane is frequently named as one of the Most Influential Bostonians by The Boston Globe and Power 50 and Women Who Mean Business by the Boston Business Journal.

Jane started her career at PWC and joined EY in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rhode Island College and her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the Massachusetts and Connecticut bar associations. Jane resides in Cohasset, Massachusetts with her husband, 4 children and 2 Newfoundlands.

Suzanne P. Clark is President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—the world’s largest business organization representing employers of every size, sector, and geography. Clark has led a multiyear effort to strengthen the Chamber’s influence and impact while modernizing its work and attracting new members from the most innovative sectors. Under her leadership, the Chamber champions constructive solutions, building coalitions and driving advocacy to advance business priorities. Clark promotes policies that enable businesses to innovate, invest, and grow and helps lead the fight against government proposals that undermine America’s economic strength and competitiveness.

Clark’s understanding of the challenges facing America’s businesses stem from her experience creating and running a growing company. Prior to rejoining the Chamber in 2014, she acquired and led the prominent financial information boutique—Potomac Research Group. Before that, Clark was President of the National Journal Group. Earlier in her career, Clark served in multiple leadership positions at the U.S. Chamber, including chief operating officer, and as chief of staff at a major transportation association.

Clark serves on the boards of AGCO and TransUnion as well as The Economic Club of Washington, D.C.

Clark earned her B.A. and M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Joe Albanese is Founder and CEO of Commodore Builders, a 22-year-old, $550 million Construction Management/ General Contracting Firm. He is a registered Professional Engineer, with a degree in Civil Engineering from UMass Lowell and an MBA From BU.

In 2009, Joe retired as Captain in the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps, after 28 years of active and reserve duty. In 2007, Joe mobilized to the Middle East for 10 months serving as Commander, 22nd Naval Construction Regiment (FWD), and Commander of Expeditionary Task Group 56.2. He provided leadership to more than 2200 Navy Seabees throughout Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and The Horn of Africa. His numerous military awards include the Legion of Merit, two Meritorious Service Medals, and four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals.

Joe serves on numerous boards including the Board of Directors of the New England Baptist Hospital, the Board of Advisors of UMass Lowell Francis College of Engineering, the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Boston University Questrom School of Business, and the Board of Directors for the Village Bank in Newton. He is also on the Board of the Broaddus Companies, and the Julie Fund. Joe is past Chairman of the Board for the New England Center and Home for Veterans, Leading Cities, Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Building Congress

In the Fall of 2018, Governor Baker appointed Joe as Chief Recovery Officer leading the disaster recovery and restoration efforts following the gas line explosions impacting three municipalities in the Merrimack Valley. Joe took a 3-month leave of absence from Commodore to assemble and lead a team that put more than $750 million of work in place, ensuring that all residents and businesses were restored before winter.

Joe has been inducted into the UMass Lowell James B. Francis Academy of Distinguished Engineers, the UMass Lowell Military Hall of Fame, and the National Academy of Construction. His awards and recognition include Admiral Ben Montoya Award, Navy Civil Engineer Corps/Seabee Historical Foundation, Boston Society of Civil Engineers/TECET Leadership Award, Caritas Communities P. Leo Corcoran Humanitarian Award, A Better City, Norman B. Leventhal, Excellence in City Building Award: Infrastructure, CoreNet New England Leadership Award, Seabee Memorial Scholarship Distinguished Service Award, Housing Families Man of the Year, and Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40.

Sarah Iselin is president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, one of the largest independent Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the country with more than $9 billion in revenue, nearly 3 million members, and more than 20,000 employer customers. The company is consistently recognized as one of the nation’s best health plans for member satisfaction and quality.

Sarah has a long and successful history with both Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and its Foundation, where she played a key role in the development of the “Roadmap to Coverage.” That multi-year initiative contributed to the passage of Massachusetts’ landmark 2006 health reform law, which resulted in the lowest uninsured rate in the country and later became the model for the Affordable Care Act. Sarah served as the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation’s president from 2010 to 2012 and later served as the company’s chief strategy officer and senior vice president of strategy, policy, and community partnerships.

Before returning to Blue Cross, Sarah served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Blue Shield of California, where she was accountable for the day-to-day operations, growth, and financial performance of all business segments of the non-profit health plan that serves nearly 5 million members and generates $23 billion in annual revenue. Before that, she served in a variety of executive leadership roles at GuideWell/Florida Blue and Optum. From 2007 to 2009, she served as commissioner of the Division of Health Care Finance and Policy in the Patrick Administration.

Sarah sits on the boards of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Boston Green Ribbon Commission, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Blue Health Intelligence. Sarah received her Master of Science degree in health policy and management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Sarah is the proud mother of three young adults who live in various parts of North America.

What to Expect

  • 4:30 p.m. | Annual Meeting Registration and Reception Begins!

    Grab a cocktail and network with Boston’s best and brightest members of the business community.

  • 6:00 p.m. | Program Begins

    We have many surprises up our sleeves, but prepare to be inspired! We will induct 3 inspiring business leaders to the Academy of Distinguished Bostonians.

  • 6:45 p.m. | Dinner

    Attendees will enjoy a seated dinner.

  • 8:00 p.m. | Event Concludes

  • COVID-19 POLICY

    The Department of Health and Human Services lifted the Presidential Declaration of a National Public Health Emergency arising from the COVID-19 pandemic on May 11, 2023. Therefore, COVID-19 will no longer be considered a national health emergency. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce will continue to monitor trends and act accordingly based on Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance.

    Your health and safety remain our top priority while attending programs, events, and meetings. COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are strongly recommended. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce still follows exposure guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.

    If you feel ill or learn of an exposure before an event or meeting, whether with COVID-19 symptoms or others, please stay home and contact your healthcare provider.
