Economic Outlook

The people and businesses of Greater Boston continue to navigate economic headwinds and tailwinds during a time period of heightened attention to the Commonwealth’s competitiveness strategy. Soaring interest rates, expanded gross domestic product fueled by increased consumer spending, fluctuating consumer confidence, and the region’s low unemployment rate contribute to a complicated landscape for the workforce and businesses of all sizes.

We hope you enjoyed joining us for our free event hearing from leading experts on the financial year ahead and what you and your business can expect.

The program focused on the outlook of Greater Boston and the Commonwealth’s economy as our distinguished economist and expert panelists examined how various industries may fare in 2024 and shared what indicators business professionals should continuously watch.
