Antoinette Antonio is co-anchor of WCVB’s EyeOpener newscasts (4:30AM-7AM) with co-anchor Doug Meehan, chief meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon, and traffic anchor Katie Thompson. Antoinette also anchors NewsCenter 5 at Noon (12N-12:30PM) with Jessica Brown.

Antoinette joined the NewsCenter 5 team in June of 2013. Since she arrived in Boston, she’s been lucky enough to cover victory parades for three Patriots Super Bowl wins as well as two Red Sox World series wins. Antoinette has also been honored with a NATAS Boston/New England Emmy® Award for her role anchoring during breaking news coverage of the Apple Store crash in Hingham in 2022.

Antoinette came to WCVB from KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was a morning anchor and reporter. While in Albuquerque for approximately seven years, Antoinette covered everything from wildfires to floods to snowstorms and even hot air balloon crashes. She also interviewed Barack Obama during his campaign for President. She was part of several team Breaking News awards from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association. If you’re a fan of the TV show “Breaking Bad” you might also recognize Antoinette from her role as ‘News Anchor’ in two episodes. It was a real stretch!

Antoinette started her broadcast career as a morning news anchor and reporter at KWES Midland/Odessa, Texas. During her time there she received awards for anchoring, general assignment reporting as well as sports reporting.

A graduate of University of California, Irvine, Antoinette earned degrees in English and International Studies. She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Working the morning shift and being a mom doesn’t allow for a lot of free time but in her past life Antoinette enjoyed traveling, reading on the beach, snowboarding in the winter, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and checking out all of Boston’s amazing restaurants. Antoinette lives outside of Boston with her husband Jeremy and their sons Greyson and Weston.

As the President and CEO, Stephanie Brinley provides executive leadership, strategic direction and program management for Zoo New England’s mission-driven work. Between Zoo New England’s Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Mass., there are more than 1,000 animal residents and 221 year-round Zoo employees. The Zoos, which are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, welcome more than 1 million annual visitors.

Brinley brings a strong personal commitment to conservation and education to her role at Zoo New England. Her leadership drives teams working on cutting-edge science and global conservation work, award-winning programming for local schoolchildren, and ensuring the highest level of care for the animals that call the Zoos home.

Prior to joining Zoo New England, Brinley served as the Deputy Director of Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. In this role, Brinley oversaw the operations at two campuses in Washington D.C. and Front Royal, Virginia, as well as worldwide locations. She helped maintain focus on the mission of conservation throughout, imbuing exhibits, programming, and outreach activities with an overarching and strategic message around species survival.

Previously, she held the role of Assistant Director for Business Operations and Technology at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. There, she implemented critically needed financial, operational, and administrative process changes that were directly responsible for both saving and generating significant funds for the Museum, allowing Air and Space to successfully pursue its curatorial and scientific research, educational programming, and public outreach missions.

Before joining the Air and Space Museum, Brinley worked for the Department of Defense Joint Program Office for the F-35 Lightning II in Arlington, Virginia, where she held positions as the director of software, chief of staff, and lead for congressional and audits engagement. She is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and served in the Air Force for 12 years. She earned her Master of Science from Troy State University.

Carole Charnow, the fifteen-year President and CEO of Boston Children’s Museum, is one of the foremost early education and cultural leaders in the region and serves in many notable leadership roles both locally and nationally. As CEO she founded the region’s first museum access program for families receiving benefits, the EBT Discount initiative, which is now being replicated in 450 museums and cultural institutions across the state and is the basis of the national Museums for All program. During her tenure at the Museum, she has instituted a leading science and engineering division, which encompasses a STEAM lab, multiple grant programs and curriculum materials which are used in 80 state school districts. The Museum’s pioneering exhibition, You, Me, We, tackling the complex subjects of race, bias and empathy, won the national American Alliance of Museums Excellence in DEAI Award in 2024, and the Museum’s groundbreaking program on Religious Literacy, funded by the Lilly Endowment, is a first for a children’s museum. Alongside then Mayor, Marty Walsh and the Richard Family, Charnow led efforts to establish the Martin Richard Park adjacent to the Museum, a 1.5 acre, accessible park and playground. Under her leadership the Museum won the IMLS National Medal, the nation’s highest honor conferred on museums for extraordinary service to the community, presented by First Lady, Michelle Obama, at the White House in 2013.

Charnow is a member of the Community Services Board of the Dimock Health Center in Roxbury, serves as Vice- Chair of the Boston Arts Academy Board, and is on the Board of the American Alliance of Museums. She is on the Steering Committee of the Boston Cultural Leaders Coalition, and serves as Vice Chair of both the Green Ribbon Commission Cultural Working Group, and the Boston Chamber of Commerce Climate and Energy Committee. She is a Senior Fellow of the Institute for Non-Profit Practice and was named a Barr Fellow in the class of 2015. Charnow is a recipient of the Emerson College Distinguished Alumni Award, the Berklee College Urban Service Award, the New England Museum Association Excellence Award, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award, and will receive the Leventhal Distinguished Leadership Award in December. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Emerson College and a Masters of Arts from the University of London.

Prior to coming to the Museum, Charnow led cultural and educational non-profits in the US and the UK, and was the founder and General Director of Opera Boston, where she produced 50 original opera productions at the Cutler Majestic Theatre, including the world premiere of Madame White Snake, jointly produced with the Beijing Music Festival. The opera toured to China in the fall of 2010, and won the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2011, the first Pulitzer for an opera in 49 years.
