In our next Lunches on Leadership, Verdant Medical CEO Tito Jackson joins us to discuss transitioning from private roles, to public and back again, how to best encourage citizens to be civically engaged, and more.
Tito Jackson knows about the unprecedented and unexpected. Before campaigning to become Boston’s first African American mayor, Jackson worked in pharmaceutical sales, served in Governor Deval Patrick’s cabinet and, more recently, represented Roxbury and parts of the South End, Dorchester, and Fenway neighborhoods as a City Councilor. He’s gone from the private to public sectors and now back again as the new CEO of Verdant Medical, a medicinal marijuana non-profit changing the face of palliative care in the Commonwealth.
What we’re most excited to hear from Tito:
Lunches on Leadership are an opportunity for you to get in the room and break bread with some of Boston’s most influential. Roughly 30 of us will gather together to hear a few lessons from someone with a compelling background and an exciting future. More importantly, you’ll get a chance to really get to know these speakers with dedicated time for your Q&A.
