This week, the Business for Federal Research Funding (BFRF) Coalition sent a letter to Congressional leaders urging them to finalize an appropriations package for Fiscal Year 2018 before December 9 when federal government funding expires. The BFRF Coalition stressed that reaching a bipartisan budget agreement to raise spending caps and allow the appropriations process to proceed is critical for continued investments in research across the country.
The Business for Federal Research Funding Coalition is a broad-based coalition started by the Boston Chamber that consists of more than 75 U.S. Chambers of Commerce from across the country advocating for increased research funding in the federal budget.
