Lt. Gov. Murray speaks to Chamber, says “I would like to be governor”

Earlier today, Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray addressed Chamber members at a Government Affairs Forum. While Murray said “I would like to be Governor,” he did not announce that he would run for the seat in 2014.

During his speech, Lieutenant Governor Murray highlighted some of the achievements of the Patrick-Murray Administration, including achievements in education, health care, and transportation.

Murray also highlighted the importance of the state’s Gateway Cities and discussed their potential for economic growth, and touted the Chamber’s Boots to Business program to connect veterans to employers.
