Workplace Culture Panel Discussion
7:30 - 9:15 a.m.
Join us for the first Women’s Network Breakfast of 2018, as we convene a panel of experts to discuss workplace culture and its impact on women’s advancement. A positive workplace culture is paramount to both employees, desiring support and professional growth, and leadership, seeking retention and outcomes that affect an organization’s overall performance and brand.
Our panelists include a CEO who has spoken about executives’ roles bringing about change and the importance of men as allies, a Chief People Officer who has transformed the vision of traditional human resources functions, an expert on unconscious bias who started her own business, and, a nationally renowned lawyer who has advised companies on how to address workplace issues. Our panelists will speak to the importance of an inclusive culture; how to cultivate and maintain it; and specific issues that affect women’s advancement, such as pay equity and workplace harassment. The conversation will also include advice for actions that leaders at all levels can take to move the needle at a time when the treatment of female professionals has dominated headlines and conversations.
Unconscious Bias Training
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Immediately following the breakfast program, panel moderator Su Juon of Diversity@Workplace will lead a special unconscious bias training workshop. During this workshop, participants will explore the following:
