The Chamber on Tuesday hosted a special panel discussion, as part of the Women’s Network Breakfast series, entitled “The Power of Women in Philanthropy.” A room of nearly 300 female executives and professionals from across the region took part in the invigorating discussion, focusing on the increasing role – and opportunities – for women to make a difference in the non-profit sector.
Moderated by Geri Denterlein, president of Denterlein Wordwide, panelists include Mary Cullinan, EVp Corporate Affairs & Social Responsibility, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; Corinne Grousbeck, Brand & Non-Profit Consultant, and Sylvia Ferrell-Jones, President & CEO, YWCA Boston. Each shared their own candid philanthropic experiences, and outlined specific steps for attendees to deepen their own commitments to the causes mattering most to them.
Like all WNET Breakfasts, the event included an information 30-minute networking session, followed by a Q&A and opportunity to directly connect with the presenters.
