Nearly 200 business executives from across Greater Boston came together on Thursday for the Chamber’s Executive Forum, with guest speaker Robert Caret, president of the University of Massachusetts.
Besides enjoying a networking session, participants were given the first look a new program measuring progress across the university system. Designed to bring more accountability and transparency to state officials and the public, this new report will reveal growth across the following areas: student experience and success, producing an educated citizenry, world class research and development enterprise, enhancing social well-being, good stewards of resources, and telling and selling the UMass story. Caret revealed the first release will be in Spring 2013.
