Government Relations Coordinator
The Government Relations department manages the Chamber’s relationships and advocates for the Chamber’s public policy priorities with elected officials and others. The Government Relations Coordinator will support this function by assisting the team in formulating policy stances, developing outreach strategies, and communicating with members. The successful applicant will be a driven team player who will use his/her strong organizational and critical thinking skills to: prioritize legislative and policy matters for the Chamber’s attention, identify emerging legislative priorities, and communicate with a broad audience. Over time, the ideal Government Relations Coordinator will develop expertise and take ownership of an agreed upon set of subject matters. Learn more and apply
Assists Senior Director of Finance & Administration in the processing of daily cash receipts, database updates, bank deposits, collections, data reconciliation in database conversion period, accounts payable processing, budget input, bank reconciliation, and other ad hoc projects. Support our team and members by maintaining the reception and member/event space, as well as managing the phone system, incoming inquiries, incoming and outgoing mail, and the overall visitor experience.
