Hessan is the Founder, President & CEO of Communispace, a leading next-generation market research company. In this role, she leads the company’s employees in building and managing the nearly 600 private online communities the company has created for a premier list of more than 120 global corporations. These communities help marketers generate consumer insights. As a result of Hessan’s leadership, Communispace’s revenues have tripled over the last four years, and the company enjoys a client retention rate of more than 90 percent. She has spent her 35-year career helping companies become customer-focused—both as a business executive and as co-author of the book Customer Centered Growth: Five Strategies for Building Competitive Advantage. Prior to her time at Communispace, Hessan was an executive at The Forum Corporation, a leader in corporate training and development. She also devotes time and energy to serve on the boards of many organizations, also serves on the boards of many organizations, including Panera Bread, Tufts University, and Horizons for Homeless Children.
