We congratulate Sharon on this well-deserved honor!
Sharon Reilly is Executive Director of the Women’s Lunch Place, an organization that provides shelter, food, and services for women who are homeless or poor. Under her leadership, the Women’s Lunch Place launched a successful $3 million capital campaign that enabled it to undertake a major building renovation which ultimately expanded capacity to meet the increasing need for services. Since she was hired in 2007, Reilly has spearheaded the design and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation system to measure the impact of the organization’s services; guided the organization through its first Strategic Development Plan that lays out revenue and expense projections over a 36 month period; and raised the Women’s Lunch Place’s profile among target constituencies in an effort to diversify and expand the organization’s base of support. Prior to joining the Women’s Lunch Place, she was the Director of Community Relations at The Food Project, where she was responsible for the organization’s public policy initiatives and for building brand awareness.
